Lincoln Ventures Ltd has long history, going back to its days as the Agricultural Engineering Institute. We are still heavily involved in the agricultural sector. Some typical examples:
- Automatic detection of cows in oestrus (Imbada image processing tools)
- Irrigation system design, from micro-irrigation to giant centre pivot systems (Irricad software package)
- Farm scale modelling for farm management decisions, e.g. under water or nitrate constraints (FarmSim simulation package - under development)
