This programme concentrates on the development of new generation information systems. It is based on the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) which enable both simple presentation of information to farmers as well as incorporating powerful analytical tools to analyse data that has a spatial distribution.
The research has three aims:
- CART - Cumulative Agrichemical Residue Tracking
- Spatial Mapping
- Product Quality and Yield Mapping
Drift hazard assessment using CART – Cumulative Agrichemical Residue Tracking. International Conference on Pesticide Application for Drift Management, Hawaii, 2004.
CART – Cumulative Agrichemical Residue Tracking. International Conference on Environmental Friendly Spray Application Techniques, Warsaw, Poland, 2004.
